Midwestern life, love, and heartache
False Harbor is an indie-psychedelic rock band from Lansing, Michigan. Formed in 2019 by founding members Ayden Morton and David Adrian, the group builds around lyric-driven songs that reflect midwestern life and pairs introspective songwriting with avant-garde and expressive musicianship. Drawing inspiration from experimental jam bands such as The Grateful Dead and emerging modern influences like MJ Lenderman, False Harbor crafts slow-burning compositions that feel both expansive and intimate.
False Harbor is currently based out of Grand Rapids, MI, and has featured a rotating cast of members over the years; the current lineup includes Collin Jones on bass guitar and Kenny Birge on drums.
